Portable fireballs and modular fire pits are also used for both light and warmth.
As mentioned earlier, materials used to make these outdoor furniture should withstand different climatic conditions and give an aesthetic look. Teak wood is preferred as it gives an aged look when it weathers. It is also resistant to rotting and infestation. Aluminum garden furniture is long lasting and does not rust easily. Plastic furniture is naturally waterproof and hence can be put outside all through the year. Materials such as Mahogany, Teak, Plastic, Cast aluminum, PVC wicker are all durable and can withstand rain, wind and the sun,s exposure.
Wicker is another important material which is made from a variety of palm stems. They are tightly woven and made into the desired shapes. Nowadays wicker furniture is replaced by synthetic resin made of recycled plastics and have an assured life of 20 years.
